Vartan Der-Tatevossian ESQ.
Vartan Der-Tatevossian is the managing partner at Onyx Law Firm. He has over 8 years of experience in the field of personal injury and property damage claims, including both commercial and residential fire damage, water damage, and wind damage.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Der-Tatevossian was a law clerk for The Honorable Maral Injejikian. Thereafter, Mr. Der-Tatevossian was a law clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney Hardcore Gang Division Unit assisting then-Deputy District Attorney but currently the Honorable Amy Ashvanian. Additionally, he was an associate attorney at a plaintiff’s law firm, where he began his legal career. At Onyx Law Firm, Mr. Der-Tatevossian specializes in property damage, personal injury, insurance bad faith, and civil litigation. His goal is to safeguard clients, work closely with them to navigate the complex legal process and arrive at a just and beneficial resolution.
Mr. Der-Tatevossian achieved his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013. From there, he attained his Juris Doctorate from Glendale University College Law in 2017. He was admitted to the California State Bar in July 2018.
Through his practice of law, Mr. Der-Tatevossian has all-encompassing experience in all phases of litigation including propounding and responding to discovery, law and motion, trial preparation, mediation, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. Mr. Der-Tatevossian is a compassionate and yet aggressive advocate for his clients and cares deeply about making a difference in their lives, and passionately applies this desire to his practice of law.
Natasha Elyassi J.D.
Natasha Elyassi is the executive operational manager at Onyx Law Firm. Prior to her legal experience, Mrs. Elyassi attended the University of La Verne, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management In May 2014. Mrs. Elyassi continued her education at Glendale University College of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate.
To date, as a paralegal she has over 8 years of experience in the field of personal injury. As the operational manager at Onyx Law Firm, Mrs. Elyassi is also responsible for the day to day operations of the firm and administrative matters. She strives to make clients feel comfortable throughout the legal process by carefully describing legalities and attentively answering questions to ensure there are no unforeseen surprises.
Her stern yet compassionate approach to the cases the firm handles, combined with her focus on procuring the best possible results. She is passionate about assisting individuals who have suffered losses and/or injuries as a result of the unlawful acts of others, Mrs. Elyassi worked at the firm to achieve remarkable results for the firm's clients through her valuable experience and eagerness to tackle and solve difficult problems.
